Erasmus, Bilateral & Sicue Students

If your university has an exchange agreement (Erasmus, Bilateral or SICUE) with the University of Deusto, you can study at our Law Faculty for one or two semesters.

If your home university does not have an exchange agreement with the University of Deusto, do not worry, you can come on a mobility scheme as a visiting student.

Why come to our Law Faculty?

Since it was created in 1886, our Faculty has been renowned for its teaching quality and successful training in the practice of law. Here you will be able to steer your career towards Public Law, Private Law or Transnational Law. You will also have the opportunity to take advantage of our range of specialisation fields (economic and corporate law, digital legal education, labour and international relations).

We offer you the possibility of obtaining an LLM Master’s in International Legal Studies during your stay in Bilbao as an exchange student

Some of the 1st semester subjects you can take as an exchange student at our Law Faculty may also be, when applicable, recognised as equivalent to all the 1st semester subjects on our LLM Master’s in International Legal Studies. In this way, if you plan out your 1st semester subjects well,and you add the crash course totalling 30 ECTS that will be held between January and March, you will also be awarded an LLM Master’s in International Legal Studies.

Personalised advice for exchange students

As an exchange student, you will be assigned a contact person (a Law Faculty lecturer) who will give you guidance and advice, or will answer any queries you may have about your academic progress. He/She will also support you in your development as a person and a professional during your stay at our University.
