Internationalisation is one of the strategic aims of the University of Deusto. This strong international aspect of university education allows us to:
- Enhance the quality of university education.
- while helping students to adapt to an interdependent and global labour market.
Specifically, and as part of a globalisation process, the focus of Law studies have moved from being strictly based on Spanish Law towards an approach to Comparative Law at a European, transnational and even global level.
In this regard, the Faculty of Law at the University of Deusto started its internationalisation process in the 80s, coinciding with the launch of the Erasmus exchange programme, but the scope of its areas and objectives have gone beyond this programme.
International Internship mobility
Students take part in the agreement signed with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to do an internship in embassies abroad. In turn, the “Erasmus Internship” Programme offers the possibility of doing an internship through the companies that are determined each academic year.
